You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, grief, or past experiences that make daily life feel heavy. Relationships may feel strained or disconnected, leaving you stuck, frustrated, or unsure how to move forward. You might also be navigating major life changes such as separation, family shifts, or new responsibilities.
Perhaps you are a parent struggling to support your child or teen while managing your own stress. Maybe you are a teen or young adult feeling anxious, lost, or overwhelmed by expectations. Or you may be experiencing ongoing conflict or emotional distance in your relationships.
I work with teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families in a supportive and non-judgmental space. Together, we explore what is underneath anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges while building insight, coping skills, and healthier communication.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in your life and relationships. Therapy can support you in moving from feeling overwhelmed and stuck to feeling more empowered and able to create meaningful change.
I am Marisa Tanner, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I support individuals and families through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
As a single parent of three, I bring lived experience of family change and major life transitions, along with a warm, collaborative, and supportive approach to therapy.

Outside of Therapy
Outside of the therapy room, I recharge by hitting the gym, cooking nourishing meals, and getting outside in nature. I love spending time with friends, family, and my dogs, and you’ll often find me catching live music or unwinding with good food and good company.
