Clinical Supervisor

- Kinetic Mental Health is looking for a BBS-qualified supervisor to work with our associate clinicians on a contract basis.
We’re looking for someone genuinely interested in developing early-career clinicians, not just signing off on hours. Someone thoughtful and direct, with a neurodiversity-affirming clinical philosophy they can teach, who can hold support and accountability at the same time.
Who You Are
- Passionate about mentorship and developing early-career clinicians
- Thoughtful and direct in how you give feedback
- Grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming clinical philosophy you can pass on
- Comfortable holding both support and accountability with the associates you supervise
Training & Education
- Required: active California license as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist
- Required: BBS-qualified supervisor status
- Preferred: prior clinical supervision experience
Key Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and risk management
- Clear, constructive feedback delivery
- Solid documentation practices
- Ability to guide neurodiversity-affirming assessment and intervention approaches
Position Requirements
- Experience with ADHD, autism, and AuDHD populations
- Capacity to supervise two to six associate clinicians
- In-person supervision preferred, hybrid available
- Operate as a legally recognized independent contractor
Populations You’ll Be Working With
Directly, you’ll supervise associate clinicians (AMFT, APCC, and ASW) working toward licensure, from recent graduates with minimal clinical hours through to their final hours. Indirectly, you’ll shape care for our neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming client population across individual, couples, and family work with children, teens, and adults.
